 In a robbery straight out of a crime thriller, four men have been arrested for storming into a private club in Bengaluru and looting cash and gold worth lakhs at knifepoint. The incident took place at the Bangalore Vihar Kendra Club, located in the Banashankari area.

According to police, the accused—identified as Praveen, Manohar, Srikanth, and Satish—entered the club wearing caps and masks around 6 PM, when the victims were drinking and gambling.

Armed with deadly weapons, they threatened the group and attacked one of the members, Ramesh, who later filed the complaint. The assailants made away with Rs 10 lakh in cash, 700 grams of gold ornaments, and a mobile phone. Police investigations revealed that the gang was led by Praveen, who already has three criminal cases against him.

Two other suspects involved in the crime are still on the run, and a manhunt is underway to track them down. South Division DCP Lokesh Jagalasar confirmed the arrests and stated that further interrogation of the accused is ongoing.

The police are also reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence to strengthen the case. This daring robbery has raised concerns over growing criminal confidence and the need for enhanced surveillance and security in private establishments.

 Police sources revealed that the accused had been planning the heist for several days, conducting recce of the club and its members’ routines.
