The investigation into the brutal murder of rowdy-sheeter Shivaprakash, popularly known as Biklu Shiva, has gained momentum after five accused surrendered at the Bharathi Nagar Police Station. The suspects, including Kiran and Vimal, have confessed to their involvement and are currently being interrogated by police.

According to police sources, Kiran, who is in custody, admitted during questioning that he had personal enmity with Biklu Shiva and claimed responsibility for the murder. He also stated that his brother-in-law Jagadish alias Jagga, named as Accused No. 1 in the case, had no role in the killing. “The video shows only me during the murder. The conflict was solely between me and Biklu Shiva,” Kiran reportedly told investigators. The police are conducting detailed Inquiries with all surrendered individuals to gather further information and verify their claims. The murder video footage is being closely analyzed to confirm the identity and involvement of each accused.

In a related development, former minister Byrathi Basavaraj has been served a notice by the police to appear for questioning in connection with the case. He has been summoned under Crime No. 73/2025 for further investigation. Authorities have instructed him to cooperate with the inquiry at the earliest. The case continues to attract significant public attention due to the involvement of a high-profile rowdy-sheeter and the alleged political connections surrounding the incident.
