The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a summons to former Member of Parliament D.K. Suresh in connection with the Aishwarya Gowda fraud case. ED officials arrived at his Bengaluru residence on Tuesday to deliver the notice.

Aishwarya Gowda faces accusations of defrauding individuals of gold ornaments worth crores of rupees. During these alleged fraudulent activities, Aishwarya Gowda had reportedly claimed to be D.K. Suresh's sister, a claim Suresh has vehemently denied. Now, in connection with the same case, the ED has served him notice, instructing him to appear for questioning.

Speaking on the matter, D.K. Suresh stated, "On Tuesday, at 12:30 PM, I was out. During that time, ED officials came. When I met them at my home later, they informed me it was an ED summons. Upon checking, I realized it was related to the Aishwarya Gowda case."

He further added, "They have asked me to appear for questioning on June 19. However, I have a pre-scheduled program that day, so I informed them I would not be able to attend. They have asked me to submit this in writing."

Suresh confirmed he would comply with the summons, stating, "I will go for questioning on Monday. I will see what kind of notice they have given. There is no business transaction between me and Aishwarya Gowda. We only met during an event. She has misused my sister's name."

He also mentioned that he has previously filed a complaint regarding this matter, and that investigation is ongoing. "I don't know what the ED will ask. All our financial dealings are public. I don't know who has provided them with information," he concluded.
