DC inspects Gauribidanur Government School facilities

Deputy Commissioner P.N. Ravindra conducted a surprise inspection of Kote Government High School and Primary School in Gauribidanur, the largest government school in Chikkaballapur district, with an enrollment of over 1,500 students.
During the visit, he reviewed several key aspects including campus cleanliness, student attendance, teacher performance reports, and grievances raised by students. The inspection aimed at ensuring academic quality and improving learning conditions for students.
DC Ravindra paid special attention to the 350+ students currently studying in Class 10, directly engaging with them to offer motivational guidance and tips to enhance their learning. He also took part in a classroom session, delivering a brief lecture and encouraging students to stay focused on their academic goals.
He emphasized the Importance of student-teacher collaboration and urged teachers to adopt effective teaching strategies to improve SSLC exam performance. Instructions were issued to school staff to maintain regularity in lesson plans, monitor individual student progress, and address challenges faced by weaker students.
Speaking to the faculty, he advised teachers to create a supportive academic environment and maintain regular feedback mechanisms to ensure better learning outcomes. The DC also reminded the school administration to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards, especially in restrooms and drinking water facilities. The visit is part of the district administration’s broader initiative to strengthen government school education and ensure consistent quality across rural institutions in Chikkaballapur.
