CET 2025: KEA to open online link from May 26 for students who entered wrong registration number

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will open an online link from May 26 to allow CET 2025 candidates—whose results were not announced due to errors in entering their registration numbers—to submit their marks. KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna shared this update in an official release on Saturday.

KEA had announced the CET 2025 results on Saturday. However, several candidates complained that their results were not published despite having passed their 2nd PUC or Class 12 exams in the previous year. Upon investigation, KEA found that the issue was caused by candidates entering incorrect registration numbers while submitting academic details.

Before the CET results were declared, KEA had clearly instructed students to enter correct registration numbers to fetch their 2nd PUC/Class 12 marks from the respective boards. Due to incorrect entries, KEA was unable to retrieve the marks and hence withheld the results of such candidates.

From May 26, affected candidates can use the dedicated link to manually enter their 2nd PUC/Class 12 marks and upload their mark sheets along with the correct registration number. KEA will then verify the submitted marks with the concerned boards, and only after verification, spot ranks will be assigned starting from May 29.

KEA has clarified that students do not need to visit the authority in person to obtain their spot ranks.
