BMTC launches new non-ac bus service
The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) introduced a new non-AC bus service on Monday, aimed at improving connectivity for commuters in the city. The new route, 238-UN, runs from Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic) to Narasapura, passing through key locations such as HD Deve Gowda Circle, Magadi Road 1st Cross, Vijayanagar, Moodalapalya, Nagarabhavi Circle, and ITI Layout. One bus was deployed on the new route, designed to provide a reliable transportation option for commuters traveling along these busy corridors. The service was scheduled to operate with the first bus departing from Kempegowda Bus Station at 5:25 am, offering an early start for those who need to travel to their destinations early in the day. The last bus on this route was set to leave at 8:15 pm, ensuring that commuters could return home after a long day.
The introduction of the 238-UN bus service is expected to ease the travel experience for people in the affected areas, offering a more convenient and affordable alternative to other modes of transport. With a focus on improving Bengaluru’s public transport system, BMTC continues to expand its services to meet the growing demands of the city’s residents.
The introduction of this new bus service aligns with BMTC’s ongoing efforts to enhance public transport options across Bengaluru. By expanding routes and adding services, the corporation aims to reduce traffic congestion, promote sustainable travel, and provide affordable transportation solutions to residents in both residential and business districts.
