The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to organize a grand ‘Tiranga Yatra’ today in Bengaluru to express support for the Indian Army. The yatra will feature a 600-metre-long national flag and is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., stretching from Mantri Mall to 18th Cross.

BJP state president B. Y. Vijayendra will lead the event, which is expected to witness the participation of a large number of BJP leaders, workers, and supporters. Preparations are in full swing to ensure the yatra is a grand success, showcasing the party’s solidarity with the armed forces and its patriotic spirit. The decision to hold the Tiranga Yatra follows instructions from BJP state in-charge Radha Mohan Das. It comes a day after the state Congress organized a similar Tiranga Yatra in Bengaluru, signaling a strong wave of patriotic demonstrations from major political parties in Karnataka.

Party workers have been actively mobilized, and the display of the massive Tiranga is expected to be a major highlight of the procession. The event aims to unite people under the national flag and reaffirm commitment towards the nation’s armed forces and sovereignty. Security arrangements have been tightened along the yatra route, and traffic diversions are likely to be in place to ensure smooth conduct of the event. The BJP has invited all citizens to join and celebrate national pride through this colorful and symbolic march.
