Bengaluru woman kills pet dog in ‘black magic ritual’,
A distressing incident has come to light in Mahadevapura, where a dog was reportedly found with its throat slit, and a woman is being accused of the act. This marks the second instance of a dog disappearing from the same woman's residence, raising suspicions of whether the animals are being killed for "black magic" rituals.
The heartbreaking event occurred in a private apartment complex within Chinnappa Layout, under the jurisdiction of Mahadevapura police station. A woman named Triparna Payak from West Bengal is accused of slitting the throat of a dog she was caring for four days prior, then wrapping it in cloth and concealing it.
The accused woman reportedly owned four Labrador dogs. The disappearance of another dog from her home about four months ago, coupled with this recent killing, has intensified suspicions. Apartment residents, alerted by the foul smell emanating from the deceased dog, informed the police. The post-mortem report of the dog has confirmed that the killing occurred four days ago. The Mahadevapura police station has registered a case, and the possibility of the killing being for "black magic" rituals is being investigated.
