Bengaluru: Stickers to be affixed on every house in west zone for SC Sub-Quota Survey
Bengaluru: In a bid to complete the ongoing survey for providing internal reservation to Scheduled Caste communities, West Zone Commissioner Suralkar Vikas Kishore on Saturday instructed officials to affix stickers on every house within the West Zone's jurisdiction.
Speaking at a progress review meeting regarding the survey at the West Zone office on Saturday, he stated that affixing stickers on all houses would make it easier to identify the homes that need to be surveyed, thus facilitating the completion of the survey. He immediately directed officials to visit all houses and paste the stickers.
During the sticker-affixing process, officials must ensure whether the survey has already been conducted or not. For this, they should seek the cooperation of NSS, ACC, and registered organizations. He also instructed them to verify the survey work based on BESCOM and Water Board data and swiftly complete any pending surveys.
To achieve 100% progress in the survey work, the deadline has been extended until June 22. Citizens can also participate in the survey at citizen service centers such as 'Karnataka One,' 'Bengaluru One,' and 'Grama One' centers, as well as at Bapuji Seva Kendras. Separate camps have been arranged at all ward offices within the jurisdiction.
Furthermore, citizens can voluntarily participate in the survey online through the link: https://schedulecastesurvey.karnataka.gov.in/selfdeclaration/.
