Barbaric Killing Of Congress Worker

A Congress worker was killed by bike-borne miscreants on the night of May 24 at Chowdeshwarinagar in Bengaluru. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Ravi alias Matthi Ravi. A case has been registered at Nandini Layout Police Station.Ravi was attacked and bludgeoned to death with stones after he stepped out of his house in Chowdeshwarinagar. The reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. It was Ravi's friend Krishnamurthy's birthday on Wednesday and he had come out of his house at around 10:45 pm. The accused followed and attacked him near CMH bar and finally killed him near Halliruchi Hotel at around 11 pm.Before attacking Ravi, the accused tore the posters put up by his supporters near his house during the recently concluded Karnataka Assembly elections. According to reports, five people came on bikes and killed Ravi.Nandini Layout police visited the spot and registered a case. The police have launched a manhunt for the accused.
