Auto Driver Attempts To Run Over Techie

An auto rickshaw driver was caught on camera as he attempted to run over a techie in Bengaluru after he reportedly did not agree to pay the fare demanded by the former. The incident took place on May 24. A case has been registered at HSR Layout Police Station in Bengaluru. At around 3:15 am, a techie approached an auto rickshaw driver to reach to his destination. The driver reportedly demanded an exorbitant fare. After a discussion for a few minutes, the person decided to leave the auto and book a Rapido.The auto driver who was upset by this, attempted to mow him down. The techie fell on the road but managed to escape unhurt. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed at a nearby shop. A case has been registered at HSR Layout Police Station. The police have begun a search operation for the auto driver.
