Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS), a joint venture between Air India and Singapore-based SATS Ltd, on Tuesday inaugurated a state-of-the-art logistics park at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru.

The facility, constructed with an investment of Rs 200 crore, is one of the largest on-airport logistics parks in South India and spans eight acres. Named AISATS BLR Logistics Park, the complex comprises three distinct buildings.

The main attraction is a two-level warehouse providing over 2.4 lakh square feet of warehousing space, specifically designed to cater to freight forwarders, express courier operators, and logistics firms.

Additionally, the facility houses an 11,000 square feet public bonded warehouse, enabling importers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to securely store and manage their cargo under customs supervision.

To further support logistics operations, the park includes a 24,000 square feet office block dedicated to customs house agents, logistics companies, and other allied services. AISATS will also operate a fleet of trucks to ensure the seamless movement of cargo between the logistics park and the airport’s cargo terminals.

With this development, AISATS aims to significantly enhance Bengaluru’s air cargo infrastructure, streamline supply chain operations, and bolster the city’s position as a key logistics hub in the region. The AISATS BLR Logistics Park is expected to boost trade efficiency and attract more global and domestic logistics players to Bengaluru. By offering integrated warehousing and transport solutions within the airport premises, the facility is set to reduce turnaround time, improve cargo handling capacity, and support faster clearance of shipments.
