As tensions rise between India and Pakistan, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has pledged to maintain the country’s supply of goods without interruption. Representing 90 million traders, CAIT has assured full support to the government and armed forces under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Praveen Khandelwal, CAIT Secretary General and Member of Parliament, compared the role of traders to soldiers on the economic front. He said the trading community will ensure that the nation’s supply chain stays strong, even during tough times.

Khandelwal praised the Indian armed forces for their courageous response to Pakistan’s actions, calling it a moment of national pride. He emphasized that India has enough food and essential goods, with no risk of shortage. He asked citizens not to panic or hoard items. CAIT has promised to keep markets stable and avoid any disruption. If needed, traders will even deliver essentials to people’s homes, like they did during the COVID-19 pandemic. Khandelwal said traders will closely follow government orders and help stop panic or false rumors.

He appealed to all traders to show patriotism through discipline and trust in the government. No one should act independently in markets or spread confusion. Instead, they should wait for official updates before taking any action. Khandelwal reminded traders that serving the country means being united and responsible. CAIT urged traders across India to remain calm, stay organized, and support the nation during this challenging time with full dedication and commitment.
