Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will visit Surat, Gujarat, on Sunday to attract investments for his state. This event is part of the ‘Industry and Employment Year 2025’ campaign, aiming to make Madhya Pradesh a top choice for industries and create more jobs.

The session in Surat is the second major effort after a similar event in Bengaluru. The Chief Minister announced the visit on his social media, inviting investors to explore Madhya Pradesh, calling it a land full of possibilities. The event is organized by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion (DIPIP) of Madhya Pradesh.

Surat is known for textiles, chemicals, and diamond industries. By meeting business leaders there, the Chief Minister hopes to encourage new partnerships in sectors like textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering goods, and gems and jewellery.

Dr Yadav will also share Madhya Pradesh’s new industrial policies, improved infrastructure plans, and easier approval processes. The state has introduced 18 new sectoral policies to make it simpler for businesses to invest and create jobs.

A special promotional film, 'Infinite Possibilities in MP,' will be shown to highlight the state's business-friendly environment. The event will also feature presentations on new reforms, better logistics, and land availability.

Madhya Pradesh has recently improved its ease of doing business rankings by reforming rules on environment, labor, and land use. The state saw a 40% rise in approved industrial proposals in 2024-25, especially in pharmaceuticals and renewable energy.

Upcoming roadshows in Pune, Hyderabad, and Dubai show Madhya Pradesh’s strong push to become a next-generation industrial hub.
