Modi stressed that fast development is the need of the hour. “We must speed up our development efforts. If the Centre and States join hands as one team, no goal is impossible,” he said, according to a post by NITI Aayog on social media platform X.

He added that a developed India is the dream of every Indian. “When every state becomes developed, the whole nation becomes developed,” Modi noted, underlining the importance of shared progress.

NITI Aayog is the top planning body in India. Its Governing Council includes all State Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, and Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories. The council generally meets once every year. The last meeting was held on July 27, 2024.
