The government is working on creating new export hubs to help small and medium businesses (MSMEs) sell their products abroad. Moin Afaque, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, shared this news at the MSME Day Conclave 2025 in New Delhi on Saturday.

These new e-commerce export hubs will focus on using digital tools and better logistics. They will act as single-window centers where businesses can get help with shipping, certificates, and other government rules. Five pilot hubs have already been approved, and more are being planned to cover the entire country.

Afaque said this will make it easier for MSMEs to join global markets. The government wants to close market gaps and help these small businesses grow. Vinod Kumar, President of the India SME Forum, added that global supply chains are changing, and India is becoming a trusted choice. He noted that even when Indian products cost a bit more, buyers still prefer them because of their quality and trust.

He also said that over 45 countries have made it easier for Indian MSMEs to enter their markets. This makes e-commerce exports an important growth path for India. MSMEs are leading this change and making India proud worldwide.

The event also featured the National MSME Impact Awards 2025. Winners included Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, DHL, and New India Assurance. These awards honored those who supported MSMEs beyond regular expectations.

This new effort shows how India is helping its small businesses grow and succeed globally through technology and strong support systems.
