The much-anticipated songs of the film Shri Jagannath Dasaru Part 2 were unveiled in a grand ceremony held at Gayana Samaj, Belagavi. The event was graced by Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Sripada, the esteemed head of Mantralaya Math, who officially released the songs.

This film, produced and directed by Madhusudan Havaldar under Matambuja Movies, continues the cinematic portrayal of the life and teachings of the revered Haridasas of the country. Havaldar has previously introduced audiences to the lives of other great Dasas through films such as Shri Vijayadasaru, Shri Mahipati Dasaru, and Shri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru.

Shri Jagannath Dasaru Part 2 features eight soulful songs composed by Madhusudan Havaldar and Raichur Sheshagiridas. Six of these were performed live during the ceremony by renowned singers, enthralling the audience with their devotional melodies. The event also celebrated the presence of 99-year-old Anantachar Katageri, a respected Dasara, who moved everyone with his heartfelt rendition of Vijayadasaru Kirtan. Acclaimed singer Sangeetha Katti also captivated listeners with her powerful performance.

Dignitaries from various fields, along with the film crew, attended the ceremony, appreciating the efforts of Sripada and Madhusudan Havaldar in promoting the spiritual legacy of the Haridasas through cinema. Amid a contemporary film industry dominated by violent and obscene content, this film is praised as a beacon of cultural and spiritual education, especially for the youth.

Shri Jagannath Dasaru Part 2 is scheduled for release in August, promising to inspire and enlighten viewers with its devotional storytelling.
