Tiranga Yatra held to commemorate the bravery of Op Sindoor soldiers

The Tiranga Yatra organized by Bharatiyaru for National Defense in Karwar to commemorate the success of Operation Sindhur was a remarkable success. Thousands of participants waved the national flag, demonstrating strong patriotism. The event also honored more than 40 retired and serving soldiers who were felicitated for their service.

The yatra began on Friday with MP Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, former MLA Rupali S Naik, and other dignitaries offering prayers at the Maladevi temple. Throughout the procession, the patriotic song Vande Mataram played, energizing the crowd.

A key highlight was the half-kilometer-long national flag carried through the procession from Maladevi Maidan to Ambedkar Circle. The route was filled with patriotic slogans and vehicles displaying portraits of the chiefs of the armed forces, creating a spirited atmosphere.

MP Kageri praised the nationwide Tiranga Yatras and hailed the bravery of soldiers behind Operation Sindhur’s success. He credited strong leadership under Prime Minister Modi and emphasized India’s resolve against terrorism. “Let us all stand united to show our strength in facing national challenges,” he said.

Former MLA Rupali S Naik saluted the armed forces and appreciated the diverse participation from teachers, people of various religions, political parties, and communities. Orator Adarsh Gokhale also praised the soldiers' courage, rounding off a patriotic and unifying event in the city.
