Rajya Sabha member Iranna Kadadi inaugurated the canal-side service road development project from Jatta Jamboti Road to the Agricultural Research Center compound near Kalloli in Mudalagi taluk. This initiative is part of the Rajya Sabha MP’s Local Area Development project, supported by a grant from the Karnataka Irrigation Corporation.
Speaking at the event, Kadadi emphasized the importance of improving roads connected to the Irrigation Department, as they are vital for farmers. He noted that better roads will ease the transportation of agricultural goods, boosting productivity and benefiting the farming community.
The ceremony was attended by several officials, including Dundappa Jakkanatti, Assistant Executive Engineer of Karnataka Irrigation Corporation GLBC Sub-Division-1 Ghataprabha, along with local leaders and the contractor Iranna Munnolimath. The project aims to enhance infrastructure and support agricultural development in the region.
