M Pradeepkumar M Indi, Chairman and CFO of Satish Group of Institutions, has been conferred the prestigious Udyama Shreshta award for 2025 by The Sugar Technologists’ Association of India (STAI). The award recognizes his exceptional contributions and leadership in the development of the sugar and allied sectors.
STAI, a scientific and industrial research organization recognized by the Government of India, is celebrating its centenary year in 2025. The association honours industry leaders annually for their transformative work in sugar technology, production efficiency, and innovation.
The 83rd Annual Convention of STAI, held in New Delhi on Friday, witnessed the felicitation of Pradeepkumar Indi. The award acknowledges the operational excellence and diverse contributions of Satish Sugars Ltd. and Belagavi Sugars Pvt. Ltd., including advancements in sugar production, co-generation power, ethanol, compressed biogas (CBG), and TMT steel bar manufacturing.
STAI President Sanjay Awasthi and Harshavardhan Patil, President of the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories, presented the award in the presence of dignitaries and industry experts.
In his acceptance speech, Pradeepkumar Indi expressed gratitude to the founder and president of the Satish Group, Satish Jarkiholi, crediting him for his visionary leadership. He also acknowledged the strategic decisions of the board, relentless efforts of officers and staff, and unwavering support from farmer-members.
“I dedicate this award to every employee whose hard work and commitment have been the foundation of our success,” Indi said. He thanked department heads, financial institutions, customers, and all well-wishers who contributed to the group’s journey of excellence.
