In a commendable act of compassion, Belagavi City Police Commissioner Bhushan Borase turned ‘Good Samaritan’ on Tuesday morning by rushing an injured accident victim to the hospital in his official vehicle.
The incident took place on Club Road, where 20-year-old Pranosh Suranagi of Ganeshpur sustained serious leg injuries after his bike collided with a car. Commissioner Borase, who was passing by, immediately stopped, assessed the situation, and personally transported the injured youth to the Emergency and Trauma Centre.
Pranosh was reportedly heading toward Kangrali KH when the accident occurred. APMC police have registered a case, and further investigation is ongoing.
