Senior Civil Judge and Member Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Sandeep Patil, announced that a National Lok Adalat is being held across the district on July 12, and the public should take advantage of it. Speaking to the media, Sandeep Patil stated that 1.3 lakh cases are pending before the Lok Adalat in district. Efforts are being made to resolve many cases on both individual and collective fronts through Lok Adalat. This is the second Lok Adalat to be held this year, and it is hoped that hundreds of cases will be resolved. Lok Adalat will be held across the country on July 12, and the District Legal Services Authority has organised adalat in all the courts of the district on that day. There will be an opportunity to settle the current cases of property division, alimony, cheque bounce, electricity cases, revenue offences, labour, bank, and pre-litigation cases through conciliation. Out of the 1.3 lakh pending cases before the Lok Adalat in the district, about 12k cases are planned to be disposed of on priority.
