In a significant step towards digital transformation in Indian healthcare, KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, has become the first fully paperless hospital in Karnataka, powered by Presco Paperless Solutions.
In his message on this occasion, Dr Prabhakar Kore, Chairman of KLE Society, said, “Our vision has always been to offer the highest quality of care while keeping pace with the evolving needs of healthcare delivery. This paperless initiative is a step forward in creating a smart, transparent, and environmentally responsible healthcare system.”
Dr. M Dayananda, Medical Director of KLE Hospital, said the hospital’s transition to a paperless system reflects its ongoing commitment to excellence in patient care. “Going digital has reduced turnaround time, improved decision-making, and ensured a smoother patient experience,” he stated.
Under the initiative, all clinical, administrative, and operational processes have been fully digitized using Presco, an award-winning health-tech platform. This technology has replaced paper records with electronic ones, cutting administrative workload, boosting efficiency, and improving data accuracy. It also aligns with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) guidelines, ensuring strong data privacy and cybersecurity.
The transformation was made possible through close collaboration between hospital leadership, the IT team, and Presco, demonstrating the power of vision-driven execution.
