KODAGU: Minor Irrigation and Science and Technology Minister NS Boseraju clarified that the government has sufficient funds and is actively working on development plans. Speaking to reporters at Harangi Reservoir in Kushalnagar, he said Rs 8,000 crore has been reserved for the development of assembly constituencies across the state.

He added that guidelines are being prepared for the fund's distribution to MLAs, and a formal announcement will soon be made by the Chief Minister.

Responding to allegations of discrimination in grant distribution and claims of empty government coffers, Boseraju dismissed the accusations as politically motivated. “The opposition, which has no real work, is spreading baseless allegations based on isolated comments by one or two MLAs,” he said.

He emphasized that most MLAs are not facing any issues with fund allocation. “Even MLA BR Patil hasn’t blamed the Minister. As for Raju Kage, he is known to be emotional and blamed local officials, not the government,” Boseraju stated. He also assured that the Chief Minister has instructed officials to address such concerns swiftly.
