VIJAYANAGARA:
Revenue Department officials should ensure that the public is not made to run from pillar to post to get their work done, said MLA K. Nemarajanayaka. He emphasized that the department, being the one with the highest public interaction, must uphold efficiency and courtesy in service.
Inaugurating the Revenue Day programme at the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium of the Kottur Tahsildar’s office, he said, “When people visit government offices, they should be treated respectfully, and their work should be completed without causing them unnecessary inconvenience.”
Leaders MMJ Harshvardhan and Mrityunjala, Town Panchayat Vice President G. Siddhaiah, Tahsildar G.K. Amarish, Taluk Panchayat EO B. Anandkumar, and others were present. Retired officers K. Nagaraj and Leela were felicitated.
