Laying to rest all speculations regarding the skirmishes between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar, the CM said " I and Shivakumar are united. Let anybody say anything, there are no differences between us".

"We don't pay heed to such talks. Our government will remain strong as a rock for the full five year term", Siddaramaiah told reporters in Mysuru Airport on Monday.

Before leaving for the KRS Dam to offer the bagina to River Cauvery, the CM arrived in a special flight from Bengaluru and from here he went to the dam.

Asked about the upcoming visit of AICC General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge Randeep Surjewalato to Karnataka, Siddaramaiah said the purpose of Surjewala was to gather opinions and carry out his responsibilities.

Reacting to BJP’s claim that Siddaramaiah will not inaugurate this year's Dasara festivities, he said there is no limitation when it comes to lying. Former minister, B.Sriramulu has lost both in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections — how can he predict the future?" he questioned.
