Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara said that we are checking whether there are any Pakistani nationals among us.

Speaking to the media at his Sadashivanagar residence on Friday, he said, those who are officially present and those who are illegally present are being checked. We have answered questions when asked in the previous session. We need to know who Pakistani nationals are and who are officially present and send them all back.

The central government has taken the decision to send them back. The illegal presence should be investigated. There is no problem in sending those who are here officially. The visa has already been cancelled, the central government has instructed them to go back. Our job is only to tell them to go back. The police are looking for those who are here illegally, he said.

I am not going to talk about the central government. They have already taken some decisions diplomatically in the security of the country. More tough decisions should be taken. Such incidents should be prevented from recurring. More tough measures should be taken to suppress terrorist organizations, he said.

The central government's intelligence agency is also in Bengaluru. They often give information to our police. Sometimes they operate without giving information. If we don't know if there are sleeper cells here, they must know, because this is a national issue. If we know in advance, we will inform the center and the NIA, he said.
