Royal Challenger Bengaluru (IPL) allrounder Mahipal Lomror has revealed that he had been told the night before the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by the team management that he would be utilised as a finisher if RCB were chasing. Lomror (17 off 8) played his role of finisher as an Impact Player to perfection, stitching an unbeaten 48-run stand in just 18 balls with Dinesh Karthik, to help RCB chase down 177 in the final over to get their first points of the IPL 2024 table with a four-wicket win over Punjab Kings. They are very clear about it from the very first day and I'm also preparing for the same, Lomror said after striking an unbeaten 17 off just 8 deliveries in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's four-wicket win over the Punjab team.
