Popular Telugu actor Vijay Devarakonda is facing legal trouble after a case was filed against him under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for allegedly making offensive remarks about tribal communities. The complaint, filed by tribal leader Nenavath Ashok Kumar Naik (also known as Ashok Rathod), accuses Devarakonda of making racially insensitive comments during a public event.

In response to the backlash, Devarakonda issued a public apology via social media. “If any part of my message was misunderstood or hurtful, I express my sincere regret. My intention was always to promote peace, unity, and progress,” he stated.
