Julana
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini jointly inaugurated the Maharaj Agrasen Dharmashala in Julana, Haryana—Gupta’s birthplace—on Saturday. They also performed the bhoomi pujan for the upcoming Swami Gorakshanand Nandi and Kamdhenu Gaushala.
Expressing her gratitude on her 51st birthday, CM Gupta said it was a meaningful day and thanked CM Saini for launching key projects in her hometown. I feel honoured that these initiatives were inaugurated on my birthday. I thank CM Saini for his warm welcome and support, she told reporters.
CM Saini also shared the event photos on X and praised Maharaj Agrasen’s vision of unity, recalling his principle of one rupee, one brick for community building. The Maharaja Agrasen Dharamshala Trust continues this legacy, and I believe this Dharmashala will promote social harmony, his post read.
Earlier in the day, Saini also extended birthday wishes to Gupta, calling her a transformative leader who reshaped Delhi’s political landscape under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under her leadership, Delhi will reach new heights of progress, he told the media, also acknowledging the support of BJP leaders JP Nadda and Amit Shah.
The occasion highlighted cooperation between Delhi and Haryana leadership while honouring tradition, development, and community values.
