Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta recently held a ‘Jansunvai’ in Shalimar Bagh, where she directly interacted with citizens to hear their concerns and suggestions. During the event, she instructed officials to take immediate action on the issues raised. Sharing moments from the public hearing on social media, CM Gupta emphasized the importance of public opinion in shaping government policy. In a post on X, she stated, Today, I had a direct conversation with the people of Delhi through Jansunvai. I listened to their views, took their suggestions seriously, and directed officers to take prompt action. The voice of the people is our real strength and guides our policies.
She further noted that the Delhi government remains sensitive, alert, and fully committed to addressing public concerns. In another post, she highlighted the value of face-to-face dialogue with citizens, describing every complaint and suggestion as a responsibility for the administration. Our resolve is to fulfill public expectations and strengthen their trust, she added.
In addition to the Jansunvai, CM Gupta also took part in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ initiative, promoting environmental awareness. She announced the government's goal of planting over 70 lakh trees this season. She expressed satisfaction over active participation from government departments and schools, urging every citizen and organization to plant at least one tree in the name of Mother Nature. The initiative aims to significantly contribute to a greener and cleaner Delhi.
