Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta criticized the AAP on Wednesday, stating that no one has the right to question the government or armed forces regarding national security. She emphasized that during emergencies, decisions are made in the national interest, and the country stands united with the armed forces. Gupta added that a father must prioritize the well-being of his country, family, and the 140 crore citizens of India.

Her comments came after the AAP raised concerns over the recent agreement between India and Pakistan to halt military actions. The AAP questioned whether justice had been served after the Pahalgam terror attack and what led to the development.

Gupta argued that while many can criticize from the comfort of air-conditioned rooms, only those involved in such situations can make informed decisions. She stressed that simply making statements doesn’t help and that no one should undermine the government or armed forces.

The controversy followed a statement from AAP leader Atishi, who expressed concern over the ceasefire after intense cross-border drone and missile strikes. She questioned whether justice had been served for the Pahalgam attack and if the terrorists had been captured. Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also demanded clarity on the sudden ceasefire decision.

Prime Minister Modi, in his address, warned Pakistan that India would not tolerate nuclear blackmail and reinforced that terror and talks cannot go hand in hand.
