On Tuesday, Chennai-based Sudarshan Enterprises donated a golden conch (shanku) and disc (chakra) weighing around 2.5 kg, valued at approximately Rs 2.4 crore, to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati. According to a press release, the items were handed over to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary at Ranganayakula Mandapam in the temple premises. TTD, which manages the temple, confirmed the generous contribution made by the enterprise towards the service of the revered deity.
