Two 24-year-old men have been booked by Navi Mumbai police for letting a woman perform a dangerous stunt called ‘aura farming’ on the bonnet of a moving Mercedes-Benz car in Kharghar on July 20. The act, caught on video, quickly went viral online. Neither of the accused, Alfesh Azam Sheikh nor Rafique Sulde, had valid driving licences. Police said such stunts endanger lives and spread fear. They’ve been charged under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Motor Vehicles Act for reckless and negligent behavior.
