Coastal Karnataka is bringing a fresh mix of horror and humour with Su From So, a supernatural comedy directed by JP Thuminad and presented by Raj B Shetty. Set to release on July 25, the film is already gaining attention for its unique blend of village charm, spooky thrills, and quirky characters.
The story is set in a peaceful village between Mangaluru and Udupi, where everything changes with the arrival of a ghost named Sulochana, nicknamed Su from So (Someshwar). The trailer, released on July 15, is narrated by JP Thuminad’s character, giving a fun peek into the chaos that follows in the once-calm village life.
The film features a host of memorable characters like Ravi, Satish, Chandra, and Ashoka, adding layers of humour to the spooky plot. Backed by Raj B Shetty, the movie stars Shaneel Gautham, Sandhya Arakere, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Mime Ramdas—familiar faces from the Kannada film scene.
With viral music by Sumedh K, especially the catchy Danks Anthem, and a mix of local culture, horror, and comedy, Su From So promises a fun theatrical ride.
