Sanjay Dutt is set to star in the horror-comedy The Bhootnii, releasing in theaters on April 18. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film blends horror, comedy, and action. Alongside Dutt, the cast includes Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Aasif Khan.
The teaser, recently unveiled, shows Dutt in a fierce action avatar, wielding swords to battle evil spirits. The film also explores romance, as Sunny Singh’s character is seen pleading with The Bhootnii for love. The teaser opens with Dutt reciting lines from the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing the immortality of the soul.
Produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, with co-producers Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt, The Bhootnii has already generated excitement among fans. Mouni Roy’s performance is also drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Dutt has also joined Baaghi 4, directed by Kannada filmmaker A Harsha in his Bollywood debut. The first-look poster features Dutt in a dark and intense avatar, sitting on a gothic throne with a lifeless woman in his arms. The tagline reads, Every Aashiq is a Villain.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 will release on September 5, 2025. The Baaghi franchise, known for high-octane action, has been a major hit since its first film in 2016.
