Sanjay Dutt avoids clash with Prabhas' film

Veteran actor Sanjay Dutt recently addressed concerns about the potential box office clash between his two major upcoming films—Dhurandhar and The Raja Saab—both scheduled to release on December 5, 2025.

During the teaser launch of KD – The Devil, starring Dhruva Sarja, Shilpa Shetty, and Reeshma Nanaiah, Dutt was asked about the possible showdown. Interestingly, he plays important roles in both Dhurandhar and The Raja Saab.

Commenting on the situation, Dutt said, It’s exciting because I’m playing two very different characters. In Dhurandhar, my role is completely different from what I do in The Raja Saab. But I truly hope both films get their own space—they each deserve a fair run.

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and presented by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, has already sparked interest with its gritty first look featuring Ranveer Singh. The ensemble cast includes Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Dutt himself. The film is said to explore the lives of unsung heroes behind covert missions, giving a fresh take on patriotic storytelling.

On the other hand, The Raja Saab, headlined by pan-India superstar Prabhas, is also eyeing a grand release on the same date, creating buzz about a potential clash.

As the release date nears, fans and industry insiders are hoping for a scheduling change that allows both films—and Sanjay Dutt—to shine without competing for the same audience.
