Rajinikanth has signed his next film with director Nelson Dilipkumar, and the film titled Jailer is heading firmly. More than 80% of the film shooting has been completed, and the film heads to the final stage of shooting. The next schedule of Jailer is to happen in Mangalore and the Superstar actor was spotted taking his flight to the city from Chennai yesterday (Feb 13). Rajinikanth met his Jailer co-star and Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar in Mangalore. The two leading actors were spotted in casual attire as they discussed an informal matter ahead of the formal work.
Shiva Rajkumar will also be part of the Jailer Mangaluru schedule, and some action sequences involving him and Rajinikanth are reported to be shot during the schedule. Its going to be a short schedule for the Jailer team in Mangalore, and they are expected to return to Chennai for the next shoot. Rajinikanth earlier filmed for a portion for Jailer in Rajasthan along with the Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff.
The makers of Jailer have added more strength to the film by roping in leading stars across industries that include Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, and Jackie Shroff, and its going to be a perfect Pan-Indian film for sure.
Rajinikanth will be reportedly seen as a retired prison warden in Jailer, and a glimpse of his character named Muthuvel Pandian was earlier unveiled by the makers during the actors birthday on Dec 12. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music, and we can expect an interesting teaser soon to stir up the talks for the film.
