Pawan Kalyan fans can relax, as his much-anticipated gangster action drama OG is set to release as planned on September 25, despite delays in his other film Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
While Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, faces an indefinite delay, OG remains unaffected, the production team has confirmed that the schedule for OG is firmly on track. Pawan Kalyan has already completed filming his portions, and the current shoot involves other cast members.
Directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame, OG features Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a feared gangster who returns to Mumbai after a decade to face rival crime lords. Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu debut as the antagonist, Omi Bhau, while Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead.
Music for the film is composed by Thaman S, who previously delivered several hit scores for Kalyan’s films.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is also busy filming Ustaad Bhagat Singh, a cop drama directed by Harish Shankar and starring Sreeleela.
Despite the delays in his film lineup, OG promises to deliver high-octane action and remains firmly scheduled for a September release.
