The makers of Saiyaara have released a vibrant new track titled Tum Ho Toh, sung by acclaimed musician Vishal Mishra. The song marks a special collaboration between Mishra and the film’s director, Mohit Suri, who revealed a deeply personal connection with the artist and praised him as one of the most talented individuals he has encountered in his two-decade-long career.
Suri shared that he first met Vishal 12 years ago and was moved to discover that Mishra’s inspiration to pursue music came from listening to Suri’s emotionally resonant soundtracks during his college heartbreak. “When you hear your work has influenced someone’s life so profoundly, it’s overwhelming,” Suri said.
Having completed 20 years in the Hindi film industry, Suri said this collaboration was long overdue. “Vishal and I had always wanted to work together. We just waited for the right project, and Saiyaara felt like the perfect moment,” he added.
The filmmaker, known for soulful romantic tracks in films like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, described Tum Ho Toh as a magical creation by Vishal, calling it potentially the singer’s finest romantic work to date. “People who love Vishal’s music will cherish this song. Those discovering him now will fall in love,” Suri stated. Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara introduces Ahaan Panday alongside Aneet Padda and is scheduled to release on July 18. With this release, fans can expect more emotional melodies and meaningful collaborations from the film’s soundtrack.
