Gautham Menon discusses 'Dhruva Natchathiram' delay, lack of support

CH News

Gautham Menon recently shared the struggles and delays faced while working on his film Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Chiyaan Vikram. Despite being one of the most anticipated Tamil films, its release has been delayed multiple times, including a postponement from November 2023. Menon discussed the lack of support he encountered during the production and release process in a chat with Madan Gowri on YouTube.

He revealed that, while pushing for the film’s release, he found himself facing significant challenges with little help from others. There was no one to help or address the issues; I was left to handle it alone, Menon explained. This isolation made the process even more difficult, with no one showing genuine concern for the film’s struggles. Menon expressed his disappointment, noting how success is often met with skepticism rather than celebration.

He emphasized that the survival of Dhruva Natchathiram was due to the strong anticipation and support from the audience. The excitement and loyalty of the viewers kept the project alive, showcasing the power of a film's connection with its fans, especially when external backing is absent.

The movie, which also stars Ritu Varma, Simran, and others, is a spy thriller that promises to deliver an intense cinematic experience. The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj, while the cinematography is by Jomon T John and Manoj Paramahamsa.
