Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited action film Kingdom has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the movie is now set to hit theaters on July 31, 2025.

Sithara Entertainments, one of the film's producers, announced the update on X, writing, “The gun is loaded. And the rage is real. Blazing all guns with a U/A Certificate. Let the rampage begin with the #KingdomTrailer today.”

Originally planned for a March 28 release, the film was postponed multiple times — first to May 30, then July 4 — before locking in the new date. The teaser has already created buzz, showing Vijay as a powerful, intense character, rising from betrayal to reclaim his destiny.

Kingdom, once called VD12, carries the tagline “From the shadows of betrayal, shall rise a king.” It’s written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, with music by Anirudh Ravichander and editing by Navin Nooli.

The film is produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. With stylish costumes by Neeraja Kona and high-octane stunts by three top action directors, Kingdom promises a thrilling ride.
