The St. Flowers Group of Educational Institutions in Vijayanagar’s Chandra Layout, Bengaluru, marked the beginning of the academic year 2025–26 with a devotional Aksharabhyasa (initiation into learning) ceremony for newly enrolled children of nursery, LKG, and UKG.

School President Dr. G.R. Krishnappa, who has been upholding this tradition for over 30 years, led the event. With deep devotion, he initiated the toddlers into learning in the presence of their parents, invoking the blessings of the divine before starting the academic journey.

The event was held on the school premises with hundreds of students and parents participating in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Management Director Darshan Krishna, Principals Soumya G. and Vinutha P., along with teachers and parents, were present and ensured the smooth and organized conduct of the programme.

The Aksharabhyasa ceremony, deeply rooted in Indian cultural values, symbolizes a sacred beginning in a child's educational path, and continues to be an integral part of the school’s ethos.
