Regarding the allegation of paying a bill of ₹ 55 crore without carrying out the work, city police have raided the Devaraja Arasu truck terminal and are searching for ₹ 55 crore sanctioned for a work which was given by the chairman of the organization. A complaint was submitted to the city police alleging that Veeriah and former managing director Shankarappa were trying to make illegal transfers. The officials of Bangalore City Police Unit had conducted a preliminary investigation in this regard. As the allegations were apparently found to be true, the central office of the organization in Shantinagar's BMTC building was raided and the documents are being confiscated. Lokayukta Bangalore City SP KV Ashok headed the operation.
