MLA Pradeep Eshwar of Chikkaballapura Assembly Constituency expressed confidence that the upcoming state cabinet meeting at Nandi Hills on June 19 will specifically address the issues and development of Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Bengaluru Rural, and other districts.

On Friday, June 13, in anticipation of the cabinet meeting scheduled for June 19 at Nandi Hills, MLA Pradeep Eshwar visited the venue with a team of officials to review the preliminary preparations. Speaking to reporters afterwards, he stated that the cabinet meeting at Nandi Hills is a matter of pride for the region. He highlighted Nandi Hills' historical significance, having been visited by Mahatma Gandhi and hosting the prestigious SAARC conference.

Eshwar conveyed his expectation that the cabinet meeting would bring significant attention to the development and challenges faced by these districts. He mentioned that several key issues have already been listed and submitted to the Chief Minister, with hopes for crucial decisions to be made during the meeting. Among the proposals placed before the Chief Minister are the approval of a ₹150 crore flower market, a ropeway project, increasing the storage capacity of the Jakkalamadugu Reservoir dam in the region, and recommending Nandi Hills for inclusion in the list of World Heritage Sites. He emphasized that Nandi Hills gaining World Heritage status would attract international attention, leading to an inflow of investment and benefiting the region.

Present during the inspection were IGP Laburam, Chikkaballapura District Commissioner P.N. Ravindra, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Prakash G.T. Nittali, District Superintendent of Police Kushal Chowkse, Additional District Commissioner Dr. N. Bhaskar, and district-level officers from various departments.
