Minor from Bihar strangulated for denying sex

The Suratnagar police have cracked the mysterious case of the unidentified girl’s body found in a suitcase near the Old Chanda Pur Railway Bridge in Anekal taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused had raped the girl, murdered her, and then placed the body in a suitcase, which they discarded beside the railway track.

Involved in the case are Bihar native Ashik Kumar (22), Mukesh Rajbanshi (35), Iddadevi (32), Rajram Kumar (18), Pintu Kumar (18), Kalu Kumar (17), and Raju Kumar (17). The accused had committed the sexual assault and murder of the girl on May 20.

Ashik Kumar works at a private company and resided in Kachanayanahalli. He had traveled from Bengaluru to Bihar on May 13. Within two days, he had lured the girl from a neighboring village. On May 15, Ashik Kumar took the girl from Bihar back to Bengaluru. They reached Bengaluru on May 18.

On that day, Ashik Kumar was seen roaming around Bengaluru city with the girl. Later that night, he took her to Mukesh’s house, a relative. The next day, when the girl refused to cooperate in sexual activities, an argument ensued. Subsequently, Ashik Kumar assaulted her with a beer bottle and then attacked her with a rod. After the assault, he suffocated and murdered the girl.
