In the strengthening of the healthcare sector, the contributions of health workers, including nurses, have been invaluable. Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA from Malleshwaram, expressed the government’s commitment to ensuring the welfare and progress of healthcare personnel.
He made this statement during the inauguration of the AHS Conclave 2025, organized by S. Vyas Vidyavidhyalaya and the Karnataka State Allied and Health Care Professionals Association in Mysore Road. Dr. Ashwath Narayan emphasized the vital role the healthcare sector plays in society and stated that healthcare workers must unite to protect their rights, including salary and job security.
He assured the audience that the government would provide necessary support to healthcare professionals. Dr. Vishal Rao spoke about the importance of using knowledge and skills for the betterment of society, stressing that education only gains significance when it leads to positive social change. Dr. Tupil Venkatesh highlighted the impact of current lifestyles and climate change on human health, stating that environmental protection is key to a healthy life. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Venkataram, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Shekhar, Dr. Jayanti, AHS Khan President Prof. Rajesh Shenai, and other esteemed healthcare professionals.
