The ongoing door-to-door E-Khata campaign in Ramanagara city has received an overwhelming response from residents, according to City Municipal Council President K. Sheshadri (Shashi). On Monday, the second day of the campaign for Wards 3, 4, and 5 was held at the premises of Lakshminarayana Temple in Kayisoppinabeedi in the presence of Sheshadri.

Over 30 property owners, who had applied online, submitted the required documents and successfully received their E-Khata certificates within an hour. Various officials, including the municipal commissioner and revenue department officers, were present at the venue to facilitate on-the-spot processing and issuance of E-Khatas.

Speaking on the occasion, President Sheshadri expressed satisfaction with the public’s response, saying, “The campaign has seen high participation from residents eager to obtain E-Khata and B-Khata certificates directly, without any intermediaries.” He emphasized that the initiative aims to bring essential services to people's doorsteps and highlighted the dedicated efforts of the municipal staff and revenue officers in making the campaign a success.

So far, over 3,000 E-Khatas have already been distributed from the municipal office. To extend the reach of the initiative, the door-to-door campaign was launched on July 23 across multiple wards, ensuring residents can avail property documentation easily and locally.
