BMTC introduced one day Kolar tour

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is preparing a special tour program aimed at showcasing the famous pilgrimage sites in Kolar district to the people of Bengaluru in a single day. In this regard, officials from BMTC's unit 18 visited various tourist locations in the Malur taluk on Friday to gather necessary information about the sites.

A delegation led by Mallikarjunayya, the Manager of BMTC Unit 18, visited the Chikkatirupathi Prasanna Venkataramana Temple. They conducted discussions with the temple's operational officer T. Selvamoni, village panchayat president G.V. Manjunath, chief priest Raviswami, and local residents to collect relevant information. The tour package will cover various pilgrimage sites in the district, including Chikkatirupathi, Kotilingeshwara, Bangaru Tirupati, Kuradumale, and Avani.

The day trip is set to commence from Bengaluru's Vaidehi Unit (Unit 18) using a Volvo bus, as informed by Manager Mallikarjunayya. Other attendees from BMTC’s traffic control team included Rajshekhar, Suresh, Bhimanah, and Executive Nanjundappa, as well as members from Chikkatirupathi, Alambadi Babu, and Upendra.

This initiative aims to provide Bengaluru residents with an opportunity to explore the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Kolar in a convenient and organized way. With the focus on enhancing tourism and accessibility, the new tour program is expected to attract a significant number of participants interested in visiting these revered sites.
