Bengaluru has recorded a maximum temperature of 33.3°C, which is 2.7°C above the seasonal average, indicating an early arrival of summer. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has observed an unusual rise in temperatures since late January, leading to a shorter-than-usual winter season. According to IMD scientist C.S. Patil, Bengaluru typically experiences winter until the end of February, but this year, the temperature crossed 30°C in early February, marking an early transition to summer.
The IMD's 7-day weather forecast suggests that Bengaluru will continue to experience warm conditions throughout the week. The maximum temperature is expected to remain at 33°C, while the minimum temperature will range between 16°C and 17°C. The weather will largely remain clear, with some mist likely on Monday. No rainfall is expected, and the city will experience stable and dry conditions in the coming days.
